Sainz emphasized that the tactic was too easy in Monaco compared to other tracks with DRS. George Russell overtook Albon off-track in frustration, resulting in a penalty for cutting the chicane. Sainz acknowledged the challenge and importance of avoiding manipulating the race despite the tactical aspects. Racing Bull’s Lawson and Hadjar also coordinated effectively, securing a double-points finish with Hadjar finishing sixth and Lawson eighth.
