Williams drivers strategically held up the midfield to pit without losing positions, enabling Sainz and Albon to score points. Sainz emphasized that the tactic was too easy in Monaco compared to other tracks with DRS. George Russell overtook Albon off-track in frustration, resulting in a penalty for cutting the chicane. Sainz acknowledged the challenge and importance of avoiding manipulating the race despite the tactical aspects. Racing Bull’s Lawson and Hadjar also coordinated effectively, securing a double-points finish with Hadjar finishing sixth and Lawson eighth.
